Aribeth quietly sang to herself, leant against a bench. It was raining, quite heavily, but she was not going back in, ooh no. "Harald" was visiting, an arrogant, immature brat from Germany who had yet to hit 10 years of age. Aribeth couldn't see him-that at least that was something-but his voice and the way he acted sent her...psychopathic. Luckily, he was in the spare room and not hers.

Lukas was lucky he wasn't living with her; god, that would have been awful. He was next to her, she in a dark navy blue greatcoat, faded grey with time, he in a leather jacket. "Lukas-diese ist schreisse."

"And your point is? Let's just hope someone turns up, or it's going to stay like that."

"Well, I sure as hell ain't going back home."

It was a normal day, Lindsay had just gotten off work, and was skateboarding home. However, today she decided to take an alternate route, through the park. She hopped up from the street onto the curb, stopping her skateboard once it landed and flipping the end up so she could grab it. It was a nice change, to walk through the park. She paused a ways away, noticing some people on a bench nearby. She sighed and then went to sit in the grass, setting her skateboard down in the grass next to her in the cover of a tree, sitting up against a tree trunk to avoid the rain.

Aribeth sighed. "So Lukas, was werden wir tun?"
"Gut hoffe ich, dass jemand anderes up." "dreht; Leute schaukeln, Sie haben Recht dort. Das Problem ist die Verwendbarkeit; z.B. ist wer das durch den Baum?"
"Ich nicht wissen. Klingt wie ein challenge."
"Zwanzig Dollar auf it."
"Sie sind on." After the brief exchange, Lukas walked over, in the rain, to the tree sheilding the skateboarder. She was pretty, yes, and like Antoinette, Lukas towered over her. Leaning against the tree, he spoke.
"Hey. What's your name?" GOD, that was a cheesy line.

Lindsay looked up to see a guy leaning against the tree, 'God, how tall is he?' She thought to herself. She smiled and spoke, "Uhm... Hey. I'm Lindsay." She looked at him a minute, "And you are...?" She felt bad, she recognized him from school, but she wasn't really sure what his name was.

Lindsay pulled on the ends of her sleeves, tugging on them so that they would cover her hands too. She looked up at Lukas, trying to remember where she had seen him before...

Lukas was reassured when his line (which he percieved as something only a schreissekopf would say) did not earn him a rebuking, and so replied with a little more confidence. "Lukas Schweinstiger, professional soccer player and professor of being overly tall." The rain was starting to become very heavy, and Lukas was becoming jealous of Aribeth with her massive coat.

Lindsay bit her lip, "Wow, that's quite a title you've got there, Lukas." She looked up at him, "How tall are you anyways?" She was curious. She was pretty tall, but he was a friggin' sky-scraper.
----
Lukas laughed. "Six foot five and still growing. Whenever I tell people I play soccer for a living, they always say I should probably be in goal. In any case, I'm at the other end of the pitch. You ever heard of Bayern Munich?" She probably hadn't-Germany was on the other side of the Atlantic, but there was always a chance.
----
Lindsay shook her head, "Holy shit, man. That's craziness." She looked up at him with a semi-blank stare. She didn't know much about soccer, or any teams. A moments pause lasted before she shook her head, "Nope, sorry... Is it a German Soccer team?" She was guessing. Munich was a city in Germany, wasn't it?

Lukas smirked. "Yeah. I used to play for their youth squads. That's supposed to be an accolade, I guess-I suppose I'm pretty good. Well, at least I can make Stifler look stupid, and that's always good. " Stifler was renowned for his arrogance, and Lukas took great pride in being one of the few people able to knock him off his pedestal.

Lindsay nodded, "Well, anyone who can play soccer at all is good to me... I really suck." She bit her lip and smiled, "Oh good. Someone needs to make Stifler look stupid..." She shook her head, mumbling more to herself than to Lukas, though he could probably still hear her, "Stifler's such an ass..." Lindsay sighed, then looked up at Lukas. "So what brings you over to my little shelter of a tree?" Okay, so the tree wasn't really that little, but it seemed a lot smaller in comparison to Lukas.

Lukas smirked. "I'd like to think of myself as the man paid to keep Stifler from being a complete dictator, but I ain't paid. Hell, it's not easy being me." Lukas begun being sarcastic. "Because, of course, I'm constantly bombarded with women throwing themselves at my overly sexy feet." He kept a straight face for about two seconds before practically bending over with laughter. Lukas dried his eyes before carrying on. "Truth is, I've got a more important job than keeeping Stifler shut up."

He pointed over to Aribeth briefly, sitting next to whom was a small bird. Aribeth was a gentle person, gentle enough for a sparrow to do that. "That's Aribeth . She's my cousin and, frankly, it's my job to look after her. At least, that's what I spend most of my time doing. It's silly, I know, but I feel I have to look after her, you know?" It was like a sort of paternal thing for Lukas.

Lindsay smiled, and nodded, "Hell, maybe they should start to pay you for it..." She shook her head and laughed, glancing down at his feet, "They don't seem to be anything special to me...." She shrugged and laughed again, smiling and sighing as she leaned her head back against the tree trunk.

She looked over to where Lukas was pointing, and she listened carefully. She bit her lip and smiled, "That's cool that you take care of her. I understand- it's kind of like me and my dad. He always gets so caught up with things at the Garage, that I have to do all the cooking and stuff." She shrugged, then looked up at Lukas again.

Lukas continued, a slight glaze in his voice. "Well...she's pretty well known around here for two things, really. One, she's blind. Two, she kneed Stifler in the balls, which instantly makes her one of the bravest people who's ever lived. Still, I reckon I know why she did-she's changed a lot recently. Ever heard of Romeria Kouvo?" Maybe she had, maybe she hadn't. Theit relationship was still the talk of the town as far as he knew, although Stifler had probably timed his breakup with Lillana to smooth it over-lord forbid someone else she be the subject of conversation.

Lindsay nodded, "Ah, I knew the name sounded familiar. Aribeth, huh? I'll have to thank her for Hurting Stifler like that. That's brilliant." She smiled, then shook her head, "Romeria?" Lindsay didn't spend much time outside the Garage, except for skateboarding and making food.

Lukas looked up briefly-the rain was getting heavier. Aribeth was going to be a smug bitch walking back, having taken the smart move of wearing the greatcoat, whereas Lukas was throughly soaked. "Yeah, Romeria Kouvo. Finnish, hot as hell, lesbian. Right now, Aribeth's girlfriend. You should have seen her before she met Romeria. She was a real pile of shite, no confidence at all. Three years spent getting abused, and then she comes along and sorts her out. You couldn't write it." Lukas subtly gleamed with pride. He really did care too much about Aribeth.

Lindsay smiled, "Well that's fantastic, you must absolutely love Romeria then, since she seems to take such good care of Aribeth." Lindsay glanced in Aribeth's direction a minute, wondering what it must be like to be blind... She quickly turned her attention up to Lukas, who, although he was under the tree, was getting thoroughly soaked. She smiled and patted the mostly dry ground next to her, "It's much drier when you're down here, against the trunk." She was still pretty wet, but not nearly as thoroughly soaked as Lukas.

Lukas laughed. "You try keeping 150 pounds of pure german beef dry anywhere! This jacket is designed for a medium American, so it's obviously XL, and even then it don't cover much!" He sat down, although he was still over five foot tall when sitting. "I don't actually know Romeria well, I've only spoken to her once, but if she's good enough for Ari, she's cool with me."

Lindsay smiled, "I can sure as hell try, though, can't I?" She moved her skateboard out of the way so he could sit down, biting her lip and smiling as he did, "Well that's cool. Why don't you have Aribeth come over here with us? She looks awful lonely over there..." Lindsay looked over at Aribeth again. Lindsay was really quite curious what Aribeth was like...

Lukas laughed. "I could tell you what she's like without getting more wet...oh, fine! I'll call her over!" Lukas pretended to sulk before shouting over-something he was very adept at, considering the size of his lungs. "Ari! Uber hier!" Aribeth was clearly the only german speaker around, because it caught her attention.

"Vas?" Aribeth shouted over to Lukas-again, she was overly tall, and her lungs projected the german syllable at a fair volume.

"Kommst uber hier, bitte."

"Ja, ja, rechts. In einen minuten." Aribeth shoved her wallet into a large pocket and, with surprisingly good sound-object linking, walked over to the tree (although at one point it looked as though she would end up a few metres to the right of it). Unaware of Lindsay, Aribeth leant against the tree. "Ja, dir called?"

Lindsay smiled, shaking her head, "That's so cool. I wish I spoke another language..." She looked over at Aribeth as she made her way over, amazed at how easily she seemed to find the tree. She didn't say anything at first, merely watched the two as Aribeth spoke to Lukas in German. She bit her lip, wondering what they were saying....

Aribeth was a little surprised at hearing Lindsay, but then Lukas would not be leaning against a tree on his own. He introduced the two with a geat deal of formality. "Ari, ehr heisst Lindsay. Lindsay, this is Aribeth. With the formalities out of the way...oh crap, I forgot what I was saying." Lukas scratched his head, trying to work out where he was going with his train of thought. Aribeth offered a hand to Lindsay's rough direction. "Call me Ari."

Lindsay smiled, even though it was pointless, Aribeth couldn't see her. She laughed as Lukas lost his train of thought, then reached up and took Aribeth's hand, "It's a pleasure, Ari. Truly a pleasure." She shook her head, then spoke, "So you really kneed Stifler in the balls? That's awesome... Way to go." There was a smile apparent in her voice- Lindsay was glad that someone had finally given Stifler a piece of their mind...

Aribeth had been surprised at the formality in Lindsay's speech just prior to her reference to that famous incident in the Student Lounge, which seemed to be all that people spoke about when referring to her, as opposed to Stifler's supposed rumourmongering that Ari was indeed going out with Romeria Athryveris Kouvo, unaware that the source of the information was standing next to her. "Yeah...he'd been asking for it. Best of all, his excuse for not doing anything back was-" She took on a reasonably accurate impression of the bastard's voice. "-You're FUCKING lucky you're a chick and blind!" That really had tickled her, it really had.

Lindsay laughed, "Yeah, well Stifler's not quite right in the head- I've decided. He's waaaayyy too narcissistic to be normal." She shook her head and sighed, "And on top of that, he's a total ass. I'm almost sorry that I haven't taken a shot at him yet." She shook her head, sighing. "Anyways... Moving off the topic of Stifler- I don't want to give him the satisfaction of having everyone talking about him- What brings you guys to the park on this rainy day?"

Lukas interjected, looking at Ari. "Gut, meine Beine."

"Sehr lustig, Lukas."

"Ich weiß, dass ich bin." Suddenly, Aribeth snapped at him, as though stressed out or frustrated. She scowled and semi-shouted at Lukas.

"Hauen Sie ab. Wir benötigen nicht einen Stifler Klon!" She breathed deeply, wiped the scowl from her face and moved her head to face her cousin. "Entschuldigung...das vas schreisse."

"Das ist okay. Sie sind Familie und mich hassen folglich gedurft." Lukas had never taken the brief incident seriously, a smile returning to both their faces. Aribeth turned back to Lindsay, legs bent and sticking outwards to be roughly level, although she was still taller than her.

"Well, it wasn't rainy when we left, which is why Lukas only has that jacket on. Myself, I am a woman, and therefore understand common sense, and love greatcoats. Which is why I am dry and he isn't. Seriously? Well, I was out for a walk and we literally bumped into each other."
----
Lindsay watched the exchange quietly puzzled and wondering what they were saying. Her brown eyes followed the pair's back and forth, looking at them each respectively as they spoke. She bit her lip and remained silent until she was spoken to, "Oh!" She bit her lip and held back a laugh, "I hope nobody was hurt when you literally ran into each other...?"

Lukas laughed. "Nein, aber...my pride sure stings. I'm a professional soccer player with 150 pounds of german beef, and I get pushed over by Aribeth, who has a BMI of what, 18?" Aribeth laughed.

"I'm not that weedy."

"Okay, 20, at the most."

"I'm satisfied," said Aribeth, who moved her unseeing gaze back to Lindsay. "I managed to knock Hauptscharfuhrer Grosse over here to the floor with no effort at all. stronger than I look, eh?"

"Hauen Sie ab." Lukas feigned sulking. He had a good reason to, though-Bayern had been knocked out of the Champions League by Barcelona and he was therefore in a mood at everything Spanish.

"Bayern..."

"HAUEN SIE AB! Nein sprechen Bayern." Lukas was a very good actor, or so it seemed.

Lindsay smiled and laughed, "Definitely Ari. I don't think I'll be knocking him over anytime soon." She poked Lukas gently, then became thoroughly lost as they began speaking to each other in their own language again. She bit her lip and pulled a pencil out of her pocket, spinning it idly as she sat, watching the two. She was completely confused, and it showed in her face. She bit her lip again, still spinning the pencil as she tried to figure out what was going on. Ari was obviously teasing Lukas, but she still was confused...

Lukas looked at Lindsay. He looked both confused and fascinated by a pencil, but also a little amused by his cousin's teasing. "No, I don't think you will. Then again, that's like saying you ain't gonna knock over Vandervelt. You know, Grey? Really tall, absolute klutz. I'm surprised-I'm taller than he is, but he's clumsier than a nuclear missile to get rid of a stain on a window."

Lindsay continued to twirl the pencil aeound her thumb, not even looking at it as Lukas spoke to her. She looked at him and laughed, "Yeah, I've heard of Grey... Didn't he trip and accidentally knock someone down some stairs freshman year?" She shook her head, smiling, "Still, he seems like a nice enough guy, even if he is clumsy." Lindsay bit her lip and shrugged.

Lukas watched as Lindsay performed feats of digital dexterity beyond normal human capacity, and sighed as he realised he wouldn't be able to tell Ari. She'd have loved that-she always had been impressed by contortionists. Shame she wasn't a contortionist-she'd have been able to twist her body out of the way of that blade. His face dropped as he replied drearily. "Yeah...I've never met him, so...I don't know, but apparently everybody loves him. Unlike Stifler..." He finished the sentence with a melancholy sigh.

Lindsay stopped the pencil, catching it her hand for a moment as she smiled, "Yeah, I'll have to talk to him." She shook her head, "Well he really must be a nice guy if Stifler hates him." Lindsay sighed and started to spin the pencil again, wondering why Lukas looked so sad all of a sudden.
----
Aribeth interjected, herself wondering why there was such a sad sound in Lukas' voice. "No, Stifler doesn't hate him-he meant that everybody hates Stifler. Unfortunately, we all have to keep up the dog and pony show of liking him." Well, Ari didn't, and look where it got her-she was a recluse surrounded by rumours of being a lesbian. Well, she was...sort of. She wasn't sure what rocked her boat the most, that was all...but Romeria...she could never see life without her.

Lindsay laughed, "Ooh... Gotcha. Heh, I feel stupid now." She shook her head, "Ugh. I hate that everyone pretends to like Stifler... It's so annoying, and it only inflates his over-inflated ego even more." She shook her head again, "It really sucks."
----
Aribeth laughed. "Well, if you don't keep the show up, you'll end up like me-a social recluse with fucked-up eyes. Well, the eyes ain't Stifler's fault, but I'm lucky I can't see his smug fucking face. Then again, perhaps I'd be able to hurt that too. I could make his balls and face symetrical...well, they already are symetrical, cause we all know he's a dickhead." Lukas was both mesmerised and depressed by the pen, shifting between digits.

Lindsay nodded and laughed, "That's a good one Ari, I never really thought of it like that..." She smiled and looked over at Lukas, stopping the pencil and poking him with the eraser end, "Hey, why so moody?" She looked at him a minute, biting her lip as she started to spin the pencil again, her eyes still on Lukas.
----
Lukas was bemused by getting an eraser on the nose, and hurried for a reply. "Nothing, it's just...that pencil reminds me of someone who...it doesn't matter." A smile returned to his face as he sat down properly instead of kneeling. The rain was getting obscenely heavy, and Aribeth could feel it. Her coat had been a good choice of clothing, underneath which was a blue top and jeans.

"Hey Lukas, you wet yet?"

"Hauen dir ab."

"Dir sind wet, dir ist!"

Lindsay looked confused, "A pencil reminds you of someone....?" She fell silent as Aribeth spoke to Lukas, teasing him again. Lindsay smiled, "Ari, he's absolutely drenched." She laughed, then got quiet again as Ari and Lukas started to speak in German again, and Lindsay settled for her pencil spinning. She still listened, but spun her pencil as she did so.

Lukas laughed. "Yeah...perhaps I'm mad. Pencils rock...yes, Aribeth, I am wet. I'm as wet as a haddock's wet bits. Now, bitte hauen dir ab!" Aribeth giggled, and was quiet. Lukas looked back at Lindsay. "Where'd you learn to do that? Don't tell me...you are actually on the run from an opressive circus and have pulled up here hoping to become a famous pencileer"?

Lindsay smiled, and nodded, faking a shocked face, "How did you ever guess? I was sick of the title 'The Pretty Pencileer'. I was always like, 'I have a name you know!'" She laughed, "Naw, my Dad taught me. He used to do it all the time in his classes, and it drove his teachers insane. " She smiled, "I can try and teach you, if you want...? I'm not a very good teacher though."

Lukas smiled. "No, there's no chance I'd ever be able to do that, O master pencileer. I'll stick with playing professional-level fussball if it's all the same to you, please. Perhaps I'll teach you something about football one of these days, since I can safely call myself the best player in Cali Wood. Do you like soccer? And before you answer, all this muscle is dedicated to playing it and I may kill myself if someone as good looking as you don't like it." He chuckled again, waiting for a reply.

Lindsay smiled and lauhged, "Good, 'cuz I'm a really bad teacher, and would have looked completely stupid If I tried." She smiled and bit her lip, looking up at Lukas. They were both sitting on the ground, but even when he was sitting, he made an imposing character. "Yeah, I like Soccer, but I'm really, really bad at it. You could try and teach me, but I can't guarantee there'll be much improvement in my skill level. It would take a miracle to make me good at Soccer." She laughed and smiled, spinning her pencil some more.

Lukas thought that Lindsay's response was a challenge. "That's okay then, because I'm a living miracle. Come down to soccer practise some time, watch me get embarrassed by Kayden. Seriously, there ain't nobody I can't teach at least something to in the whole of California. David Beckham? I could make him cry." he paused. "Outside of the DFB, I can play at the same level as pretty much anyone."

Lindsay smiled, and laughed, "Oh, and you're certainly humble about it too, aren't you?" She shook her head, laughing as she caught the pencil in her hand, "Wait, Kayden? The girl with the pink in her hair? She embarrasses you? I knew she was good, but I didn't think she'd be that good." Lindsay smiled and looked up at Lukas, "Alright. I'll come sometime, and we'll see what you can do with my lack of soccer skills."
----
"Well, if Stifler's allowed to lord it over, I think I should be allowed an occasional display of arrogance. Yeah, Kayden's good, but she's admitted herself that we are on completely different levels of skill. Occasionally, she comes out with a moment of brilliance, and makes me look stupid, but sad as it is, she's not at professional level. It's a shame, cause if we were both in FC Bayern..." Lukas trailed off. Apparently, those doorframes were having their effect again. Aribeth picked up the void.

"Don't worry about him. He used to walk into doorframes, and while we all joke that it may have affected him, I think it may have seriously ouchied his brain."

Lindsay nodded, "See. At least you're being honest about it. But please, don't act like Stifler. We really don't need a second one- one is bad enough..." Lindsay shook her head and sighed, then laughed and winced as Aribeth told her that Lukas had walked into some door frames. Lindsay smiled and reached up to pat Lukas' head, laughing, "Well being tall has it's downsides, huh?" She then looked at Lukas a minute, curious what he was going to say before. "If you and Kayden were both in FC Bayern, what?" Lindsay raised an eyebrow, she was interested.

Lukas raised an eyebrow at being tapped on the head. "Don't worry, I'm not going to release another Stifler-clone. If we were both in FC Bayern, well...it'd be nice to stay in contact after I go back to Deutschland, you know? Obviously, I'll be keepign in contact with certain people..." In fact, he was unsure if he could bring himself to leave Aribeth when the time came.

Lindsay smiled and laughed, "Oh good. I was seriously concerned." She nodded, "Well that's cool." Lindsay got the feeling that there was more that he wasn't telling, but she didn't want to press him. After all, they had just met, and were just loose friends/acquaintances at this point...
----
"Seriously concerned about me? No way. me no duuuuuumb." Lukas deliberately stretched out the vowel, like he had done talking to Annie for the first time, to give the impression of being dim. Whatever effect the doors had had on him,though, it hadn't affected his impressive physique.
----
Lindsay laughed, "I know for sure that you aren't dumb... But even if you were, you more than make up for it with sheer massive-ness." She shook her head, "Seriously... You make me feel tiny!"
----
"Hah-you've only known me a few minutes. Trust me, I'll end up displaying my moronocy in increasngly greater ways." He examined his body. "Yeah...I am quite big...that's what happens when you exercise at a professional level for far, far too much time. I've not got much to do." It was true, although he did also enjoy it, because he had passed the point at which exercise is no longer painful and is infact enjoyable.

Lindsay laughed, "Well unless you blindly walk into the tree you're currently sitting against, I don't think I'll believe you. You can't be that dumb- Not as dumb as Stifler anyways..." She shook her head, "Man, I don't think I'd ever be able to exercise as much as you... Heh. I think I'll stick with working on my cars..."

"Most snails are smarter than Stifler. Calling me smarter than him isn't saying much at all. Working with cars? Well, when the Audi goes down, I'll call you." Lukas laughed while Aribeth interjected.
"Getting an Audi is a dream of his, see. Luckily, I don't have to worry about that-I was going to get a Volkswagen, until...well, I can't drive anything now, can I? At least I'll never have to worry about carting around kids in a pram-me finding a guy is about as likely as Stifler saying something intelligent and witty." Aribeth laughed and sighed at the same time, a curious sound, both amused and lamentous. It was true-who was even going to get her laid, before even thinking about kids or marriage?

Lindsay laughed, "Well I suppose that's True Lukas...." She smiled and nodded, "Do it, I'd be glad to help with your car anytime. You know, once you get it." She shrugged and then looked at Aribeth as Ari started to talk, "Volkswagen's are good cars. They run well. I'm more of a mustang girl, myself... But that's just my opinion." She shook her head, though it was more for her benefit than Ari's, "Now, don't say that Ari. Just because a lot of the guys around her are introverted, pompous jack-asses, doesn't mean they all are. Heck, you just gotta wait to find the right one.

Though I agree with you on that fact that Stifler's chance of saying something intelligent and witty are just about Nil."

Ari sighed, turned her head up to the rainy skies before answering, head still turned to the heavens. "I thought Romeria was right person. And then after a month she vanishes completely, not a word nor warning, and...well, it just felt...perfect, you know? I thought all the wandering between people was over." Aribeth scowled as best she could, subconciously-although it was impossible to see apart from a slightly tight mouth, there was a tangible change in her body language. "I was wrong. I won't make that mistake again." Lukas, while remaining silent so that Aribeth would not hear him, his face screamed concern, as though to say 'Oh god, what has happened to you?

Lindsay shook her head, not quite sure what to say. She glanced at Lukas and saw a look of concern plastered across his features. She bit her lip, hesitating before she spoke, "Ari... Romeria obviously doesn't know what she's missing. " Lindsay sighed and bit her lip again. What else could she say? It really wasn't her place to interfere...

Aribeth continued, leeling her head at Lindsay, a look of utter disgust across her face. "Fucking say that again and I'll fucking kill you. Romeria might have left me but she was still the closest thing I'll ever get to hapiness-so fucking lay off her, bitch!" There was acid in that final sentence. The look of disgust turned to one of shock. She extended a hand, laid it on Lindsay's shoulder. "Oh fehlt gott, I am so sorry! I wasn't thinking, I...I just thought about her, and..." By the end of the sentence, Aribeth had broken down, and Lukas came over her, like a big duvet, just holding her as she wept. Lukas turned his head, mouthed silently.

"What has happened to her?" He turned his head to Aribeth. "Where are you?"

Lindsay flinched as suddenly Ari turned her head and yelled. Lindsay hadn't been expecting that. She bit her lip nervously- she hadn't meant to offend Ari. She shook her head and shrugged as Lukas looked at her.

Lindsay silently excused herself as Lukas held Ari, Lindsay figured that Ari would prefer not to have spectators. She bit her lip again as she walked in the rain over to the next tree. The rain quickly soaked her clothes, and her hair plastered itself to the sides of her face and her neck. At this point, Lindsay sighed, not caring that she was in the rain. She laid in the grass and closed her eyes, letting the water hit her face freely. What had she done? It was her fault Ari was so upset.

After a few minutes, Ari decided it was better to make her way home than stay in the soggy weather, excused herself-and refused point-blank any assistance from Lukas. Perhaps she just needed the time alone, he thought. Standing, he looked down. What had happened to Aribeth? He looked around, walked over to Lindsay, laid a hand on her shoulder (not easy) and spoke in a comforting tone about someone he thought of as a sister. "Hey. It's not your fault. She's lost almost everything she loves in just a month, and she thinks it's her fault. Miroslav and Romeria were pretty much her whole life, and now they're gone, it ain't easy for her. Now come on. Let's get out of the rain." He used his considerable buljk to turn himself into an umbrella, shading Lindsay from the wetness.

Lindsay sighed and opened her eyes as she felt a hand on her shoulder, "Lukas... But it is my fault. I shouldn't have said that about Romeria. I'm really sorry that Ari has to go through all of that, and I just made it worse by saying that..." She sat up, noting that she wasn't getting rained on quite so hard, and she looked up at Lukas, shaking her head. "It's all my fault." She stood up and went back to the tree, slumping down next to her skateboard and pulling her wet hood up on her head, pulling her knees to her chest and wrapping her arms around them. She felt terrible...

Lukas looked at Lindsay-it was as though she had swapped with Aribeth on the misery stakes-chances were Aribeth would walk into someone and get home that way, like usual. "Hey, you didn't know what she was going to do, did you? Hell, I didn't know she was going to explode like that. Besides, she forgave you, didn't she? She's had a hard time, and you're not the only person she's gone all angriffe at. Stifler...well, he's not going to be shagging anything for a while. Now come on. Cheer up." He put a finger under her chin, brought her gaze to meet his. Those eyes...

Stop it! If you've got any chance with Annie, don't let Lindsay ruin it! It was a conflict of concience-he had not expected to find anyone good for him, and suddenly everyone was. Why do I have to know so many nice people? Not just beautiful, but good souls...schreisse.

Lindsay shook her head, "I guess... But that still can't stop me from feeling terrible about it." She sighed, looking down at the ground, though her gaze lifted as Lukas lifted her chin. She bit her lip and looked at him, half smiling. She shrugged and bit her lip again, thinking 'No... No, Don't do it. I know it's all in the moment, but... He likes Annie- He likes Annie! No, no, no, no, no- She leaned forward a bit and gave him a small kiss on the cheek, "Thanks Lukas. You're really sweet..." -Oh. That wasn't so bad. Alright... Hopefully he doesn't take it the wrong way....

Then again...Aribeth had only known Romeria that long, if not less. And look where that had lead. Lukas placed his forehead on Lindsay's, not entirely in control. "Sweet? Nobody's ever said that before...they've said 'huge' or 'abnormally tall', but...not even my mother ever called ich suss..." The two were dangerously close now, against the tree. Perhaps she had done, but he couldn't remember. It troubled him that he couldn't remember. He just smiled, looking into those round, chocolate eyes. Perhaps I should forget Annie...

Lindsay bit her lip not really sure what to say, finally, she whispered, "Lukas, you really are sweet... But...." She let her voice trail off, not sure if she should say it, 'But what about Annie?' Lindsay didn't want to be responsible for anything like that. It wasn't exactly a secret that he liked Annie- but... Lindsay bit her lip, she was thoroughly confused now.

She had only met Lukas a couple hours ago, and then now things had come to this. She looked at his face, so very close to hers, and she was tempted to let the moment carry her. She bit her lip again, holding back. She just kept thinking, 'He likes Annie... He likes Annie...'

Lukas whispered back, a hint of worry entering his voice. "But what? But...oh bumlaut, you aren't a lesbian are you? Is it me? Listen, I can chnge anything you want, I..." Without noticing, he brought his lips to meet hers, closed his eyes. Her touch was...magical. Was this what Ari was talking about? Listen to yourself-what's Lindsay going to think. Enjoy it, 'cause the next thing coming is a slap. With that, he pulled his head back slightly, got ready for some pain...

Lindsay was about to respond with 'No, no, and no. It's just that you like Annie...' But was cut off by a kiss. It startled her, but she didn't pull back. She closed her eyes any resolve seeming to have left her. She bit her lip as he pulled back, and her gaze fell to the ground, "No Lukas, None of that. It's just... Oh... I don't know. It's just, Annie is an amazing person... You should be with her." Lindsay sighed, she really wished she didn't have to say that, but she couldn't betray her conscience- Girl code and what-not.

Lukas rested his head on Lindsay's. "I know, but...she deserves to be with Ollie. Besides, she's miles out of my league...what is she going to see in me? I've tried everything I know, and...perhaps we're just not meant to be together. Lindsay...this just feels...right. Ehr erkennst mich nich weider, aber dir do. I...I don't know how to put it into words. Dir ist...wunderbar...sorry, I keep slipping into German...gott, what do I say? I'm not good with this sort of thing...sorry." A weak smiled crossed Lukas' face.

Lindsay looked up at him, "Lukas....." She didn't know what to say, so she let her sentence drop, not bothering to think up a coherent phrase. She shook her head, How can this feel so right, but so wrong at the same time? Lindsay sighed, "Lukas, I just... I don't want to be the reason you and Annie don't end up together. What if...?" She shook her head, "Never mind." She looked up at him, tilted her head up, and pressed her lips against his softly. She was certain all Hell would break loose now, but she just went with the moment.

Lukas closed his eyes (in keeping with that Hollywood tradition of not seeing where the kiss is actually directed, allowing or both romance and obscenely funny comedic incidents), felt Lindsay's lips against his, placed a hand on the back of her head. Lukas, while responding in kind, had a maelstrom in his head. Was über Annie?

Shut up, brain.. Lukas' grey matter responded by canning it, just living in the moment. It just felt rechts. He'd start something with her, Miroslav would meet her, she'd come with him zuruck auf Deustchland...he got carried away with his thoughts, failed to notice the beginnings of a very, very nasty respiratory infection. Hell, he wouldn't for a week or so, but then he'd start coughing up blood, vomiting...but none of this was the focus of his attention. His attention was focussed on the beautiful, intelligent, kind person in front of him. (( to be explained later ))

Lindsay let all thoughts slide, putting a hand on his cheek as she kissed him. 'Lindsay you're stupid. You're ruining everything for him...'-'Shut up, what's the worst that could happen, anyways?' she retorted in her head, 'Besides, he's kissing me back...' She paused a minute, biting her lip as she opened her eyes, looking at Lukas. She hesitated a mere second then kissed him again, softly, closing her eyes- this time more gingerly. She still wasn't sure what he thought or felt, and it made her nervous. She was putting her heart out on the chopping block, and she was praying that it wouldn't be broken beyond repair- or even better, not get broken at all.

Lukas pulled his lips back slowly, raising a single finger, to confirm the conditions under which they would officially be 'eine item'. "Just promise me one thing, Lindsay. Let's not get pissed, stumble home, and do a Caitlyn?" Smooooth, Lukas. Now what's she going to think? She'll think you EXPECTED to end up finding the contents of her pants, and you're going to end up with a sore face.. Lukas panicked, trying to say something a little less...stupid? "It's just...well...Caitlyn's life is now ruined, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone, you know?" Lukas slowly wrapped his arms around her, just held her-although finding just the right strength so as not to crush her was a little difficult.

Lindsay shook her head and rolled her eyes, "For starters, I don't plan on getting drunk and 'doing a Caitlyn'. And secondly, You shouldn't either." She elbowed him lightly in the chest, but couldn't bring herself to hit him any harder, though she knew he could take it. She laughed and shook her head "Nice save, Lukas..." She rolled her eyes again, but let him wrap his arms around her, and she rest her head against his chest. 'What the crap is wrong with you...?! You just met this guy!'-'Shut-up. Don't ruin it for me...'

Lukas rocked back and forth slightly, Lindsay protected by the veritable fortress of his form. Something had snapped in his head, and he was able to move one from being sentimental to having some fun. He whispered in Lindsay's ear. "You do realize you'll never escape these arms, right?" then, without even a pause, he started tickling her, while laughing like a moron/evil genius.

Lindsay picked her head up and looked up at him. squirming even as he said it, "Nooo! Don't! I'm Ticklish!" She laughed and squirmed, trying to push his hand away. She laughed, "Seriously...!" More giggling, "Lukas, stop!" She laughed again then gasped, "Oh my god, I can't breathe..." She laughed some more.

'Damnit. I look like I'm crazy now... Why do I have to be ticklish?'

Lukas smiled. "Oh are you?" He tickled even harder as she squirmed, and she wriggled so much that he fell clear over, rolling down the miuddly mini-hill. He sighed, laying next to her. Thank god-he wasn't muddy. Without looking, he spoke to Lindsay. "Are you at all muddy after that?"

Lindsay squealed, "Yes, Lukas...! I am!" She tried to get loose as they rolled, but still she was stuck in his arms until at the bottom he let her go. She looked down, and laughed, "A little bit, but I'll be alright." She smiled, then bit her lip.

Lukas stood up, offered Lindsay a hand, pulled her up. Examining her clothes, he wiped the occasional bit of mud off her clothes(avoiding anywhere below her abdomen and DEFINTELY avoiding what his father labelled 'happy mounds'. She seemed fine, and the rain was letting off. "Oh good. The weather's improving."

Lindsay reached up and grabbed his hand, hers seeming small and excessively delicate in his. She squealed as he suddenly pulled her totally upright, pulling her entire weight upward, "Geezus, I was not expecting that." She wiped the mud off of all the areas that Lukas seemed to have avoided- not that there was much mud there anyways. She looked up, it was still cloudy, but the rain was lightening- It was just a faint drizzle now. She nodded, "Yep, good, good." She smiled.

"So, now what? If we don't find anything to do, I'll have to tickle you again, and that won't be nice at all." Lukas had an evil grin as the rain lightnened at last. "Sorry, next time, I'll let you get yourself up-joking, joking!" He undid his jacket, revealing a VERY soggy shirt. Hopefully Aribeth's greatcoat was still keeping her dry.

Lindsay instinctively shied away, "No... No more tickling." She made a pouty face, then took a couple steps away, thinking. She squealed as she slipped in the mud and landed on her butt. She sighed, mumbled under her breath, "Damnit", then started to laugh. 'You're such a clutz...'

Lukas couldn't help but laugh. "And there you were, worried about being tickled. Now your arse is all muddy, and you look silly. Tsk, tsk." He strode over, helped her up. "Carry on like this and you'll come home looking like a tramp or something. I just hope your trousers ain't ruined." He laughed again. "Entschuldigung."

Lindsay pulled herself upright with his help, "I know, I know..." She laughed then started to pull her short jean skirt off- luckily, she had on black spandex shorts underneath. Lukas didn't know that though, so it would be interesting to see his reaction. She shook her head, "Naw, my skirt'll be fine... It'll just take some serious washing."

Lukas raised an eyebrow calmly when Lindsay was removing her skirt, but was not surprised that she was adequately clothed underneath-she was hardly going to appear in public while in danger of doing a Maryln Monroe, was she? "Oh that's good, because otherwise I'd probably have to pay the bill." Lukas laughed slightly, trying not to look at her legs-footballer's instinct-Legs = Ball. Although that was less than true here, so he concentrated on her face. "Can I ask, are you going to carry that home? It's just...going to look a little strange."

Lindsay folded the skirt in half, muddy side in, then in half again, smiling as she shook her head, "Naw. I wouldn't let you pay the bill. It was my own fault anyways." She shrugged "Yeah Lukas... I'd rather carry it than wear it." She shrugged, adjusting the hem at the bottom of her shorts a bit. "Why?" She bit her lip, a bit awkwardly, but continued to look up at Lukas, 'Geez... Look at you Lindsay, you're ruining everything for him.' She bit her lip again, 'Shut. Up. I'm tired of hearing all of this...'

"Just from personal experience. Well, not personal, but, one of my friends over at FC Bayern Munchen had been the only one to get slide-tackled and end up on the floor, but his bagwasn't bi enough to get them back in, so he had to carry them around on the way home, and everyone thought he'd shat himself. Then again, we were five at the time." Lukas smiled at the recollection, although it was doubtful that people would think Lindsay had shat herself, especially not through those goddamned awful lycra shorts and whatever she had inside them.

Lindsay laughed, smiling, "Man, that must have been embarrassing for your friend...." She shook her head, biting her lip again. This was a bit awkward... Not really, but it was at the same time. "So.... What're we going to do now?" She stepped back a step and raised a hand, "Besides tickling me some more, I mean. I'm totally done with that."

"Like I said, we were five." Lukas scratched his chin, trying to think (not that thinking itself was difficult, ooh no!). "I'm not to sure. I think I may have left a ball where Ari and I were sitting, but apart from that I can't really think. Fancy being impressed?"

Lindsay smiled and shrugged, "Sure, Why not? You could always attempt to teach me some of the basics..." She bit her lip and smiled, she'd actually rather like to play some soccer- as long as she didn't slip in the mud again.

"Okay. Zuruck in ein minuten-I recommend getting warmed up." With a worrying turn of speed, Lukas ran over the bench, collecting the white Bayern Munchen ball, emblazoned with the tean's insignia, and signed-it could one maybe a family heirloom. Mysteriously, the dirt washed off but the signatures didn't...very odd. Anyway, he found two trees reasonably close together. Placed the ball squarely in front of it, brought Lindsay over. "Go on, take a shot." Lukas scrambled over to the goal, so as to save it. There was another name for this particular game in Germany-roten ass. The title fitted the end product.

Lindsay stood a bit awkwardly as he ran and grabbed the ball, stretching a bit as he came back. She followed slowly, then stood in front of the ball a minute. She looked over at Lukas and gave a weak smile, "Promise you won't laugh at me?" She took a step back, then forward again, kicking the ball forward and up- slowly, for Lukas' standards. She bit her lip, then smiled as she raised her hands and shrugged awkwardly.

Lukas was surprised at the accuracy of the shot and the idea of the positioning, but there was not enough oomph, and he managed to catch it. walking out of the goal, he laid the ball down, showed her something. "Wind your leg like this...run like this, and release, like this!" The ball flew into what would have been a corner, demolishing several large branches. "Oh...entschuldigung, Mr.Tree!" He luaghed, passed the ball to Lindsay. "Give it a go."

Lindsay flinched as Lukas kicked the ball into the tree branches, causing several to break with a sharp 'Crack'. "Geez-us. Lukas, Remind me to never be Goalie for you." She shook her head and took the ball, setting it down. She did her best to imitate his wind up and what-not, but it didn't work as well for her. The ball was still well aimed, but it only had a little bit more power than the previous time. She shrugged, it was better than she had done before- at least she was improving.

Lukas was surprised-it was more powerful than Lindsay thought it was, and it went into the bottom corner, impossible to save. Clapping, he congratulated her. "Well done, well done. Obviously, practise will improve it, but I think we can move on to some of the finer points." Grabbing the ball, he ran to her with the round thing at his feet, scooped it over her head, and ran around so that it was at his feet the moment it landed. "Impressed?"

Lindsay faked a little curtsy, "Thank you Lukas.... But I think you let it go." She smiled, then watched as he came toward her with the ball, her eyes following the ball's movement as it went up, over her head, and she turned as it started down to see Lukas there already with the ball. "Holy- How did you do that? I didn't even notice you run around..."

Lukas kicked it up into his hands. "Twelve years of professional-level training. But I should be able to teach you how to do it." He plopped the ball onto the floor. "Put your foot under it like this...flick it up and run...and it should end up here." Lukas ended up the other side of Lindsay, smiling. "Give it a go." He passed it to her, assuming a defensive posture.

Lindsay laughed, "Yeah... Sure. I don't think I'll be able to do it, but I'll try...." She looked at Lukas, and made a pouty face, "It's not fair- you're taller than me...." She then attempted to flip up the ball- It went more or less over his head, though it was off to the side a bit. She bit her lip and ran around and tried to catch the ball.

Lukas jumped, just managed to head the ball back down to his feet, spun round while keeping it in the same spot. Looking down at her, he smied. "Sorry. Guess I am too tall. You got the idea right, but...ich bin zur grosse. Don't worry. You'll get it eventually." He patted the top of her head like a doting father or something, stifling a laugh at the situation. Eventually he burst out, laughing inanely. "Entachuldigung..."

Lindsay sighed as he stopped the ball from going over, making a pouty face. She smiled, "I'll get eventually... Hah. Yeah, sure... Maybe in a new century or something where they have special balls that do everything for you..." She shook her head, then looked up at him and blinked a bit as he pat the top of her head. She looked confused as he said something in German, "Wait, what...?"

Lukas had pispronounced his own language, a new low even for him. "Entschuldigung-it means sorry. I've been saying so often I thought you'd have guessed what it meant. Well, entschuldigung for not telling you." Lukas raised the ball into his muscular arms. "All you need is practise. Were you able to change the cylinders in a v12 engine the moment you starting working with cars? Perseverence, old bean, thar's the ticket!" Luaks attempted a traditional british accent, but failed, sounding Scottish with a German accent, before settling into the strong German accent again. "Entschuldigung. I'll never do that accent again."

Lindsay shook her head, "Well, no... But it only took me a couple weeks to learn that. Cars are just natural to me." She shrugged, then laughed as Lukas attempted a British accent, but it came out horribly wrong. She smiled, "I don't even know what that was... But it definitely wasn't a British Accent." She shook her head, "At least you came up with something... Mine would have just sounded like I was stupid..." She smiled and shrugged.

"Smart-ass." Then again, Lukas took a few seconds to become a footballer in body and mind-his body had just gelled to it like a...gelly thing. "Have you ever been to England? Only the Queen ever talks anything remotely like that. All the time I was there, from Accrington Stanley to Rushden, noone, nowhere, sounds like a toff. And unlike over here, the threat of being shot at is remarkably reduced. What is it that means America has the most school shootings?"

Lindsay shook her head, "No, I've never been to England... It would be cool, but I've never been." She shrugged, it wasn't like it was a big deal to her. Besides, and money she earned went to her car fund, not her non-existant 'go to England' fund. She looked up at Lukas, "I don't know... I guess we're all just incredibly insane over here..." She smiled and shrugged, she honestly didn't know the answer.

"Insane over here? That doesn't make sense at all. Then again, the U.S. administration has ruined Iraq and Afghanistan with a poorly executd war. Hell, half of Europe's been dragged along for the ride. That's why Miro is there..." Lukas stopped himself. "Entschuldigung if I've offended you, but...the men in charge of the U.S. don't seem to have much going on upstairs."

Lindsay smiled and shook her head, waving a hand, "Don't worry about it. I think that sometimes too..." She got a mischievous grin on her face, "And that's why we need a good Woman President... Not Clinton. She's alright, but..." Lindsay shrugged, then smiled again, "But that's just my opinion." She put a hand on Lukas' arm, "I'm sorry Miro's out there... It must suck, huh?"

"Clinton? I thought he was the guy who played a few away games of 'Find the Cigar' with his secretary? Oh, right, his wife." Lukas' family were particularly adept at coming up with jokes about that sort of thing, politicians having it off. He was stuck away in the distance, thinking about Miro before a touch brought him back to earth. "Oh? Yeah...he's Ari's brother, but we're close."

Lindsay bit her lip, not really sure what to say. she resigned to not saying anything for a while, but wrapped her arms around his, leaning her head against his arm, "I'm sorry Lukas... I don't know what I would do if I had a relative in Iraq. It must be terrifying." She sighed, not really sure what else to say.

"That's not the half of it. He went missing weeks ago, and there's been neither sight nor sound of him. Everyone's assumed er ist tote...dead." It was hard to say it, but it seemed the most likely. Little did Lukas predict that in a few weeks Miro would be in Caliwood, scaring small children and teenagers alike with his inordinately large height. Lukas leaned against Lindsay in a sort of...double-leaning...thingy.

Lindsay bit her lip, that was even worse. "Crap, Lukas, I'm sorry...." She didn't have anything else she could really say, so she just held onto his arm, leaning on him as he leaned on her slightly. She sighed, closing her eyes, "God, that must really suck... Poor Ari."

Lukas forced himself to perk up. "Listen to us! We sound ike miserable old gits! I know what would cheer you up..." An evil smile crossed Lukas' lips. "...a good tickle." Before she could react, Lukas pushe her down and tickled her, while cackling like a madman or a character in a cliched play.

Lindsay shook her head, "No- Luka-!" She was cut off as her started to tickle her. She squealed, trying to push his hands away, laughing, "Lukas! Stoppit!" She took a gasping breath and continued laughing as she tried to scrambled away from him.

Lukas himself ended up laughing, scrambled after her, stopped as she lay still, and laid down next to her. "Well, now I know your weakness." He brought his hand into hers, held it, turned his head and looked into her round, brown eyes. "You'll never escape now." Lukas laughed again. "Every time I see you, out coem the tickling fingers, probing yur most tickly ticklables."

Lindsay sighed and collapsed in the grass, closing her eyes a minute. She smiled and opened her eyes as he took her hand in his own, and she turned her head. She stuck her tongue out playfully, "You meanie, just because I haven't found your weakness yet, doesn't mean I won't... And then you'll never be able to tickle me ever again!" She smiled, then looked up at the sky. It was still overcast, but a few rays of the sun were shining through.

"Weaknesses? ME? I have no weaknesses, mortal!" Lukas deepened his already germanic voice, so as to sound like a god or something, and it succeeded to a large point. He laughed, looking at the sky. At last, the sun wa making a valiant effort to shine. At last-about goddamned time, perhaps he'd get a cloud out of the way or two befor he end of the year...

Lindsay shook her head, sighing and smiling, "Then what do you want with me, oh mighty God?" She would have bowed, but was laying on the ground already, "I am not worthy of your presence, oh mighty Lukas!" She kept a straight face for a minute, then laughed. Sighing contentedly as she looked up at the sky again. She looked at the few golden rays that had managed to pierce the clouds, "Gosh... Isn't that pretty?"

Lukas wasn't entirely sure what Lindsay was on about-he saw the facts, never the view. But still, he made an attempt to agree. "Yeah...beautiful." What the bumlaut ist ehr on about? I can't see anything special at all. Except perhaps her. For some reason, gib mir nur ein oh was playing in his head, and Lukas softly let it out.

Bitte, Bitte gib mir nur ein wort." He could sing-not fantastically, but he could sing. Apparently, while lying down too.

Lindsay smiled when he started to sing, resting her head on his shoulder. "I didn't know you could sing, Lukas... You're pretty good." She smiled, "Better than I am." She sighed and closed her eyes, it was a nice day, now that the rain had stopped. It was cool, and the air smelled of rain.

Lukas turned his head, looking at Lindsay, who seemed a lot closer now. "My talents are seemingly endless. Anyone can sing, it just requires a bit of practise. For example, the first thing I ever learned to sing was 'Stern des Sudens'-the FC Bayern Muenchen song." Lukas laughed, breathed in, and decided not to belt out the song as it should be, but rather to do at a volume that wouldn't blow Lindsay's worryingly close brain away.

"Welche Münchner Fußballmannschaft kennt man auf der ganzen Welt? Wie heißt dieser Klub, der hierzulande die Rekorde hählt? Wer hat schon gewonnen, was es jemals zu gewinnen gab? Wer bringt seit Jahrzenten unsre Bundesliga voll auf Trap? " The energetic first verse ended. "Want to hear the rest? It's pretty patriotic."

Lindsay smiled and opened her eyes, "Well, I'm never going to sing in front of you. Ever. If I did, it would only give you something else to hold over me." She shook her head, still smiling as he started to sing the FC Bayern Muenchen song. She listened, and though she had no idea what he was saying, she could still hear the enthusiasm. "Sure, why not? I've got no Idea what you're saying, but it sounds good to me." She looked over at him and smiled.

"I'd sing it in English, but the syllables don't fit." Lukas carried on the definetely powerful song, and at a few points getting a little carried away. Crazy, unhinged, fanatical, but at the end of the day good fans."

Lindsay smiled, "That's cool... Wow, Lukas. That's deep.... Fans being fanatical? I would have never thought..." She smiled and laughed, sitting up and getting ready to run- he would probably try and tickle her after that comment.

"Oh, no. Now I've got to do more exercise. Hold on, where is that ball?" Lukas stood, found it, laid it by his feet. "If you want more advice, I suggest asking Kayden. I perform at an international level, but I can't teach fur bumlaut." Lukas wound up a shot. "I suggest getting out of the way." He fired it at a tree, snapped a specific branch(es) and dived before one could hit the floor. He caught one with something red hanging off it, which he hid behind his back while approaching Lindsay. He brought his hand forward, holding an apple. "I've gone to all that fuss, so you aren't saying no."

Lindsay smiled, "Alright... I will." She moved to her feet and then walked a few steps away, crossing her arms and watching him. She bit her lip as she flinched, covering her head and half curling into a ball, in reaction to the snapping of the branches. She lifted her head and smiled awkwardly as he approached, and she straightened, biting her lip. She reached out and took the apple from his hand gently, "Only if you'll share it with me" She started to rub the red surface of the apple gently, looking like she was cleaning it, but she was really feeling for the stress point. If she found it, she could break the apple in half.

Lukas raised an eyebrow. "How do you intend of slicing that in half? Kung-fu, or a psychic knife or something? It's going to impress me, I'll say that much. I await your performance." This really would be good-she didn't even have long nails he could see, and yet she was going to open an apple.

Lindsay smiled, "Well then, Lukas. Prepare to be amazed." She found the stress point, and twisted her hands, gripping the halves of the apple as she twisted in opposite directions. The apple broke, more or less in half, and she handed the larger portion to Lukas, "It's all about finding the stress point..." She smiled and shrugged, taking a small bite out of her half of the apple.

"Christ on a bike flipping crumpets rodgering Mary Magdelene out of wedlock. I'm impressed. I thought competing in a sport at an international level was good, but I've been put in my place now. I shall become a monk to hide my shame from the world." Lukas laughed, taking the apple. "I'd probably mash it with my fist or something. Watch this, though." Without chewing, Lukas forced the half into his mouth, concentrated, and sent it down into his digestive system with only his neck muscles. "Impressed?"

Lindsay smiled and laughed, "That's right! I've outdone Lukas for once- Let the whole world know!" She shook her head, then made a face as Lukas swallowed the apple half- without chewing. "That's gross. Nobody should be able to do that. It makes me think of a snake- and snakes are just creepy." She gave a shiver, it was just creepy. She took a bite out of her apple half, "Don't ever do that again. It's just weird." She smiled, and shrugged.

Lukas grinned slightly evilly, his mouth twisting at the ends. "Snakes and tickling...any more hates I need to be aware of? I actually found out I could do that when a pair of bullies-yes, the great Lukas Schweinstiger was once bullied-shoved an orange down my throat. I got my own back, though. Me and the guys from the u-15 Bayern squad kicked the shit out of them." Luaks looked up and reminisced. "I really was such a lovely child."

Lindsay shook her head, "Bullies suck. Though I can't imagine you ever being bullied." She looked over at him, "I'm glad you guys taught them a lesson." She looked down at her half of the apple, "That's still gross though, so don't ever do it again." She didn't really want the apple anymore...

"Well, back then I wasn't the six foot eight, muscular figure you see standing before you now. I must have been reasonably fit, 'cause I was in the Bayern Munich squad, and that is a great honor." Lukas laughed as Lindsay seemed to lose her appetite. "Oh dear, don't you want that anymore? f you want, I can make up for it by buying you lunch."

Lindsay shook her head, "It's hard to picture you as anything other than what you are now..." She tilted her head, as if trying to picture a smaller, less strong Lukas. It wasn't working so well. She sighed and shook her head, "Naw, don't worry about it. I'm just... Not hungry." Okay, so that wasn't entirely the case, but it wasn't a big deal.

Damn! You were in with a chance, there, Schweini! Ah well, keep it up. Lukas would have to try something different. Or perhaps just a different approach. "Well, I am, so you have two options. Either stay here, get all miserable, and turn into an old cat woman. Or, come with me, get stuffed with far too much crappy anti-health food, and regret it tomorrow come the fussballmannschaft's game. So, which option?"

Lindsay sighed, crossing her arms and pretending to think. "Hmmmm..." She exaggerated the motion of tapping her cheek with her finger. Then she smiled, "Oh, alright... I'll go with you. But I'm not eating anything. I'm seriously, just not hungry." She shook her head, then smiled, "Though, I wouldn't have stayed here. I don't want to turn into a Crazy Cat Lady! They scare me... Heh."

Lukas resigned himself, stood up, offered Lindsay a hand. "Alright, but don't blame me if I force-feed you SOMETHING at least. Perhaps it's just that I need a lot of fuel to run the machine that is my body, but I could eat all day. Then again, you aren't quite so big as me."

Lindsay took the hand offered and stood up as well. She shook her head, "I'm not hungry Lukas... I don't need fifty-thousand calories a day to keep me running." She shrugged and smiled, walking over to where her skateboard was still under a tree.

Lukas watched as Lindsay grabbed her skateboard, while he entertained himself doing keepy-uppys, reknowned for being a display of skill, although those and ball control were two different things altogether. As she returned, he stuffed the ball into his jacket, forced the zip closed, giving the impression of either being fat or having Done a Caitlyn. "To Rocky's it is then."
