Highview is an old style place. It has a community wherein everyone knows everyone within their area. The old women get together every Sunday after church and knit or bake or witter. While the under-twenties are not quite this quintessentially kitsch, everyone can feel the spirit. When a newcomer arrives, they are brought into the fold. Except, of course, for one condition.
Last October, Michael Fry arrived. A few weeks later, he was found to be a homosexual or, as the townspeople described him, a:

Nobody seems to suspect it, or the Young Ladies' FBA building. No prizes for guessing the purpose of that building, but remember that Highview is a heavily religous place.
