Appearance;; Lindsay’s nothing overly special. Average height, average weight, dark brown hair, feminine build. Just your normal young woman. Her blue eyes seemed sort of out of place, but it only added to her subtle beauty. She wasn’t exactly one to fuss about how she looks and prefers to keep things simple, t-shirts or tank tops with jeans, jean shorts, or jean skirts, usually with a jacket because she gets cold easily. She doesn’t often wear high-heels, but prefers to wear converse sneakers- they’re easier to work in.

Personality;; Over-all, Lindsay’s pretty laid back most of the time. She’s not one to bite your head off unnecessarily, but neither is she one to sit back and let herself be used. She’ll talk for hours about cars if you let her, but she does know how to listen. Actually, she’s really good at listening. She’s pretty quiet around people she doesn’t know(unless she’s helping them with her car or something), and is uncomfortable being the center of attention most of the time, so being the girlfriend of the only successful person in Highview can be a little overwhelming sometimes. But for the most part, Lindsay’s down to earth and sweet.

History;; It’s a fairly simple tale, Lindsay’s life. She was the result of an unwanted teenage pregnancy, put up for adoption by a fearful 16 year old. That was when Jordan had found her. It was shortly after his wife, Mary Kaller, had died of cancer. She had always wanted a daughter, but had never been strong enough to carry a child. The pair were planning on adopting, but it just never happened. When Mary died, Jordan decided that a daughter was exactly what he needed.

Jordan must have sensed it, then and there, that Lindsay would be a car lover(she was 6 months old at the time), because he only had to hold her a few minutes before saying with surety that he was going to adopt her.

So Lindsay grew up to be whatever she wanted to be, a deep love of cars instilled in her, fostered from a young age. The love lives on, and Lindsay is what she is today- a Beautiful woman, who loves cars, skateboarding, and is basically a dream daughter. She and her Father talked about cars all the time, and they acted like best friends. Who could ask for more?

Lindsay couldn’t, but she somehow got it. She met Lukas while in High school in California. It was a rainy Saturday, and Lindsay was walking home from the car garage when she got caught in a sudden deluge of rain. She took shelter under a tree in the park, and Lukas wound up coming over and introducing himself. Things went from there and then they had the whole cliché ‘kiss in the rain’ thing happen. You could call Lindsay a hopeless romantic because she was hooked after that. She and Lukas have been inseparable ever since.

She had argued. She had argued most animatedly when her father had taken her to England some time ago, but that time seemed long past to the young woman now that she was back in her town- Barbados. She was born and raised there, and she absolutely loved everything about it- the people, the small shops that barely kept from closing day after day, the way everything seemed to change when it rained. Ah, the rain. It had been so long since she had been able to walk in it, what with her fiance fearing that she might catch a cold. Luckily for her, Tristan was otherwise engaged today- she didn't ask what he was doing, but seized the opportunity.


Even now, with her dark brown hair dripping wet, her grey-blue eyes nearly sparkled with delight as she traversed throughout the streets, but she quickly noted that there far fewer people about than there should have been. The cause was soon discovered and Abigale Bretton, the only daughter of Admiral Bretton, was on her way down to the docks, to see the arrival of the crew that had been chasing Jack Sparrow. Abby wasn't a short woman, but she wasn't tall either, which proved to be her downfall as she stood in the crowd, near the back, since she couldn't see a thing over the heads of the people around her.


After the crowd dispersed, Abby was left standing there looking up at The Dauntless. It was a powerful vessel, one a man could(and did) respect. Clutching the soaked skirt of her dress, she walked forward so as to better see the vessel, but was stopped when her named was called.


Tristan was standing there, his coat pulled up to protect him from the rain, "Why, Abigale, you're positively soaked. What are you doing out here? You're sure to catch a cold...." he sounded exasperated, as he had specifically told her on many occasions that he didn't want her out in the rain. Even as he said it, he walked forward, removed his coat, and put it on Abby. He never told her, but he feared quite often about her- her pale complexion made her look quite like a porcelain doll, and he rather treated her like one.


Abby finally turned, pulling her gaze from the ship to look up at Tristan, "I know, I know... I'm sorry, Tristan, but I missed walking in the rain. I promise you, I'm not going to catch a cold." She shook her head, sighed, and let him tow her back to the dry warmth that was their current residence.


Once there, Tristan asked the maids to help Abby get changed into something dry and then went out to resume his business. The maids did as instructed, and they all fretted about as they hurriedly got fresh clothing for her. After getting changed, Abby sat down by the fire and took her hair down from the bun it was in, running her fingers through the long, curly locks. Soon, she was completely dry, and was startled by a knock on the door. She looked at the door a moment and called, "Come in!"


The maid came in and informed her that there was to be a ball held tomorrow evening to honor the crew that had just returned.


Abigale sighed, "Alright, thank you."


The maid nodded and excused herself, leaving Abby alone to think again. As she sat, she idly played with her hair, running her fingers through the loose curls that spilled over her shoulder. She thought quietly to herself, so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't even notice Tristans return.


He came over and stood behind her chair, looking at the fire a moment before saying, "It's a good thing you brought that gown, after all. I thought for sure you wouldn't need it."


Abby just smiled, "It's a good thing indeed..."


Tristan kissed the top of her head and then went to bed, claiming it had been a long day. Abby retired to her own room not long after that, willing the morning to come quickly since she hadn't gotten to see the men in the crew today. It would provide and opportunity to speak with them on the matter- if only she knew how complicated things would become tomorrow night.
